Launch of the BIAX brand - synonymous with flexible shafts.

Move to a factory building in Maulbronn.

Founding of their own company in the USA.

EFA meat processing machines offer a new product line.

Under the management of Mr Hans-Georg Wezel the production of flexible shafts and meat processing machines was expanded.

Foundation of the subsidiary BIAX Tools GmbH & Co.

Mr. Dipl.-Kfm. Ulrich Merkle takes over as managing director.

Foundation of the EFA Processing Equipment Company in Omaha (USA).

Foundation of BIAX Italia S.r.I. in Roverto (I).

Acquisition of SIG Airtool Division in Neuhausen (CH).

Introduction of a modern EAP system.

Continuous expansion of the machine park with modern CNC machining centres.

BIAX GmbH Steckborn moved to Neuhausen am Rheinfall (CH).

Construction and opening of a new production and administration building.

The company is DIN EN ISO 9001-2000 certified. Recertification in 2007 and 2010 and 2013.

Introduction of the new "RSC Modular" pneumatic robot spindle system with deflection.
